Day two:
After breakfast, get your bike ready (if you haven’t brought one, don’t worry, we have bikes for hire) or your walking shoes to explore the Vía Verde del Mar, an old railway line converted into a beautiful path by the sea.
This trail connects Benicàssim with Oropesa along 6 kilometers full of tunnels, viewpoints, and small hidden coves where you can take a dip if you feel like it.
In the afternoon, take some time to visit the Torre de Sant Vicent, an old 16th-century watchtower surrounded by a pleasant pedestrian promenade and landscaped areas. Nearby is Torre Sant Vicent Beach, ideal for having a drink at a beach bar with chill-out music at sunset.

You can also take a short trip to visit the Carmelite Monastery. On your return, relax by the campsite pool or enjoy a quiet dinner under the stars.
What to see in Benicàssim
Although this municipality is known for the FIB, Benicàssim is much more than just a music festival. Here are some of the essentials you can’t miss:
Route of the Villas and Voramar: Belle Époque, photos, and panoramic benches
A picture-perfect walk. Along the Route of the Villas, you’ll discover modernist mansions that served as refuges for artists, politicians, and writers in the early 20th century.
Some of them retain their stately air and tell very curious stories. The walk ends at Voramar, where the benches overlooking the sea are perfect for taking photos or simply letting time pass.
Torre de Sant Vicent: watchtower (16th century) and pedestrian area
This defensive tower was part of the old coastal network that protected the coastline from pirate attacks. Today it has been completely restored and is integrated into a landscaped area with children’s playgrounds and rest areas. The beach is easily accessible from the surrounding area.
Beaches: Els Terrers, Voramar, Almadraba, Torre Sant Vicent, and Heliópolis
Benicàssim boasts more than 6 km of coastline with beaches to suit all tastes.
- Els Terrers: peaceful atmosphere and sailing school.
- Voramar: elegant and family-friendly, with beautiful views.
- Almadraba: fine sand, beach bars, and amenities.
- Torre Sant Vicent: lively and centrally located.
- Heliópolis: the longest beach, perfect for walking or running by the sea.
All of them have showers, adapted access and a safe environment, making them ideal for families and couples.
Villa Elisa: gardens and a varied cultural agenda
Among the villas on the promenade, Villa Elisa, stands out, a jewel restored by the city council that hosts exhibitions, concerts and cultural events throughout the year. Even if there are no activities on the day of your visit, its gardens are worth a stroll.
Seafront promenade: bike lane and beach bars
Benicàssim’s seafront promenade is the heart and soul of the town. You can walk along the entire coastline, combining the bike lane with pedestrian areas, terraces, and beach bars where you can enjoy a drink overlooking the sea. At sunset, the atmosphere is particularly pleasant: soft music, children playing, and the smell of salt.
Vía Verde del Mar: tunnels, coves, and coastal viewpoints
The Vía Verde is one of the most beautiful routes in the Valencian Community. It is only 6 km between Benicàssim and Oropesa, but every meter offers spectacular landscapes.
The illuminated tunnels, cliffs, and hidden coves (such as La Renegà) are a treat for those who travel to Benicàssim with the intention of seeking nature without straying far from the sea.
Desert de les Palmes: 360º views and recreational áreas
This natural park is the perfect counterpoint to the sea. Marked trails, viewpoints, and recreational areas make Desert de les Palmes an ideal place to disconnect, breathe fresh air, and discover another side of Benicàssim. On clear days, you can even see the Columbretes Islands on the horizon.
Benicàssim is a very complete, comfortable destination full of contrasts. It is the perfect place to discover by motorhome. From our facilities, you have the option of combining the freedom of traveling on wheels with all the comforts of a 5-star campsite.
