Benicàssim beaches
Benicàssim’s enviable climate makes its beaches one of its main tourist attractions. Benicàssim has up to 6 kilometres of fine sandy beaches. These are long, well-kept beaches where holidaymakers can sunbathe, stroll and practice a multitude of sports.
Voramar beach
Voramar beach is located at the northern end of Benicàssim and is characterised by its fine sand and by the company of the hill, which starts the greenway to Oropesa del Mar. It is a beautiful place to contemplate the spectacular villas and to carry out maritime activities in its calm waters.
Almadraba beach
This is the closest beach to Bonterra Resort, 500 metres from our campsite. The name of this beach is a reference to the old fishing devices. It is a beach of fine sand, crossed by a promenade, ideal for strolling and enjoying the sea in perfect peace and quiet. On the promenade, visitors can enjoy one of the Sea Libraries and terraces where they can eat and have a drink.
San Vicente Tower beach
It owes its name to the majestic tower that can be found here, dating from the 16th century. It is one of the most popular beaches, where multitudes of cultural and sporting activities take place.
Els Terrers beach
It is a family beach, over a kilometre and a half long. It is characterised by wooden walkways that run along it, making it ideal for long strolls. It is also ideal for a wide range of water sports. If you like pebble beaches, in Els Terrers you can choose between a beach with fine sand and a pebble beach.
Heliópolis beach
About 3 km long, this is the longest beach in the province of Castellón. Highlights include the Sea Library, where you can enjoy a quiet read by the sea, and the cycle lane, which connects Benicàssim with the city of Castellón.

The Desierto de las Palmas is the Natural Park belonging to 5 municipalities in the province of Castellón, including Benicàssim, a town privileged to be located between the mountains of this area and the wonderful beaches that cradle the Mediterranean Sea.
In this extensive area, you can enjoy the extensive Mediterranean vegetation and the views of Benicàssim from the top of the mountain, while breathing fresh air with a mixture of typical aromas such as rosemary, thyme, pine trees or the wonderful orange blossom, the orange blossom, which gives its name to our coast.
The Desierto de las Palmas was declared a Natural Site in 1989 and in its 3200 hectares we find 9 hiking routes of different levels of difficulty and with varied extensions, which you can walk with your family.
Among its highest peaks are the Mola del Morico at 694 metres and the Bartolo, at 729 metres.
Greenway
A walk to enjoy between sea and vegetation
The greenway is a coastal cycling route between Benicàssim and Oropesa that can be done on foot or by bicycle. Along the route, while surrounded by nature and the Mediterranean Sea, we can find cliffs, viewpoints, old stone ruins, hidden coves and part of the history of Benicàssim and its old railway line.
This six-kilometre route ends after crossing the tunnel that leads to the marina of Oropesa del Mar. We recommend you discover this wonderful greenway that will not leave you indifferent.
