Today we would like to tell you the story of Ioana Precup, a new client of Bonterra Resort who has been visiting us every winter for her triathlon training since 2022.

Ioana, 46, is a digital nomad lawyer from Bucharest, Romania. She was living in a flat in the Romanian capital when the Covid-19 pandemic hit. It was then that she realised she didn’t want to keep up with the stressful pace of life in the crowded capital. It was then that he decided to buy a motorhome and start his adventure.

She tells us that the first few times she got into the motorhome she felt strange, she didn’t know how to drive it because it was too big and she didn’t know what she needed to start this new life.

But little by little and with time she discovered this wonderful world of waking up every day in a different place and she fell more and more in love with this life. This is how in 2021 she started her journey through Europe. But travelling alone, Ioana has always stayed in campsites, looking for places where she feels safe and accompanied by her neighbours.

And then came September 2022, when Ioana appeared for the first time at Bonterra Resort. Initially, her first stay was to be for one week, but she was gradually extending it until she finally stayed with us until the end of April 2023, i.e. 7 months.

We asked her how she met us and she told us that in her free time she does triathlons and that she had one planned in Grao de Castellón, so she started looking for campsites in the area, it was then when she found our facilities and started reading comments that motivated her to meet us.

Ioana tells us that she decided to stay at Bonterra Resort because of the quality of the facilities, the excellent cleanliness, the proximity to the sea and the mountains, the tranquillity and the availability of shops nearby. She gets up every day at 6 a.m. and goes jogging on the beach or cycling in the mountains, after which she goes swimming in the pool. After these hours of training, she has breakfast and sets out to spend the day teleworking outside her motorhome enjoying the sun. At the end of the working day, he spends his free time reading, shopping, organising his motorhome, doing yoga or having a massage, as well as sharing dinner and wine with his plot neighbours. Moreover, having been here for so long, he has made friends in both Benicassim and Castellón and also goes out with them to get to know the surrounding area a little better.

He says that what he likes most about living in the motorhome is the freedom he has to move around, how close he can be to his neighbours, being able to go out into the sunshine to work by simply opening the door of his motorhome and the ease with which he can go out for sport.

As you can see, we have more and more clients who get to know us and fall in love not only with Bonterra Resort but also with Benicassim. Like this, there are thousands of stories that we will tell you in our next blogs.
