At Bonterra Resort sustainability is our commitment!

That is why we are proud to inform you about our latest initiative dedicated to preserving the natural beauty that surrounds us. Some Bonterra employees, in collaboration with the Benicàssim Town Hall and the Libera Project, carried out, last 5th December, an exciting day of litter picking around the bike path that surrounds the campsite, an inspiring action that reflects our firm commitment to environmental awareness.

This collaboration is part of the “1m2 PER FIELD, FOREST AND MOUNTAIN” project promoted by Libera and we were delighted to collaborate as volunteers who are aware of our environment and its preservation.

In our quest to promote sustainable practices, every member of staff joined this cause, contributing to the reduction of “litter” in our environment. We meticulously collected waste and promoted the importance of responsible camping. In this campaign we managed to remove a total of 12kg of packaging, 3kg of paper/cardboard, 6kg of glass and 10kg of other waste. Although following our values we know that any amount is too little, as no waste should end up littering our natural environment.

We believe that every little bit counts, and this initiative has not only transformed our environment, but we are confident that it will positively impact our guests’ experience, encouraging them to conserve the environment around us through responsible practices. Thanks to this action we have contributed to improving the environment in a way that is equivalent to saving 311.2 litres of water or avoiding the equivalent of 39.7 kg of CO2.
