Prepare your adventure:

To make your stay at Bonterra Resort unforgettable, we have created a list of essentials that you should take into account whether you come in a tent or a caravan.

      1. Power adapter

If you want to connect to the campsite’s electricity, don’t forget that at Bonterra Resort we have three-phase electricity connectors. Therefore, you will need an adapter so that you can connect to the campsite’s electricity. But don’t worry if you don’t have one, you can buy one at reception if you need it.

      2. Extension cable

An extension cable on your pitch will be a crucial element to make the most of the space. Bear in mind that the plots are on average about 80 m2. Therefore, it will be useful to have one of these if you want to move more freely and comfortably around your plot and if you want to connect various electronic devices.

      3. Camping gas and barbecue

Enjoy the freedom of cooking in the middle of nature. Whether you are an expert camper or just starting out in this adventure, the camping gas and barbecue will become your best allies for preparing fresh, healthy and delicious meals on your pitch. This way you don’t depend on restaurants, you save money, you prepare the food to your liking and you create unforgettable memories with your loved ones cooking and eating outdoors.

      4. Lantern

If you’re a night owl, you should bring your own torch as you’ll need it to light up your terrace. Please note that the campsite has lighting only in the common areas, so if you want to have light in your pitch, you will need one. Also, if you want to move around the campsite at night, although the streets are illuminated, it is better if you move around with a torch.

      5. Terrace furniture: camping chairs and tables

If you like to enjoy the outdoors, create a cosy outdoor space next to your tent or caravan. Don’t forget to bring a table and chairs for all your guests and you can set up a small outdoor lounge where you can eat outside, play board games, immerse yourself in your favourite book or just relax in the sun.

      6. Awning

Especially in the hot season, we advise you to bring your own awning to make your camping experience more pleasant and to enjoy a cooler space protected from the sun during the hottest hours of the day. Although all the pitches have trees offering natural shade, please note that summers are quite hot. Therefore, if you want to have more shade, you can’t miss a small awning in your luggage, which will also protect you from the humidity at night.

      7. Fridge

The fridge will be your indispensable ally, whether you are camping in a tent or in a caravan. Being outdoors, food and drink preservation becomes crucial. With a fridge you can keep them cold throughout your stay, even on the hottest days. Remember that at Bonterra Resort we have coolers that you can rent during your holiday.

      8. Chocks and levellers

If you are travelling in a caravan or motorhome, two essential items for your trip are chocks and levellers. Chocks prevent your caravan from moving unintentionally once parked and help stabilise the caravan on uneven or loose ground, preventing it from tipping or tilting. Levellers allow you to adjust the tilt of the caravan. Proper levelling of the caravan facilitates the operation of the caravan’s water, gas and electrical systems.

      9. Ropes

Ropes can be your ally for comfort and versatility on your pitch. With ropes you can level the awnings to protect you from both sun and rain. With these you can also hang your clothes and towels and dry them in the open air. In addition, the ropes help you to personalise your space and create a cosy atmosphere with garlands or lights for decoration. The campsite pitches are equipped with trees that offer you hook-up points.

      10. Raffia flooring

The plots at our campsite have a gravel floor, so we recommend using raffia flooring. This provides protection by creating a barrier between the ground and your tent, preventing it from getting wet, dirty or damaged by rubbing. You can also use raffia flooring as a base to set up your terrace with chairs and tables.

Remember that, if you come in a tent, you will need pegs and a mallet to secure your tent in case of wind. And if you come in a motorhome or caravan, you will need hoses and connection cables to evacuate water and connect the electricity.

And here are the essentials, if you already have all of them, don’t think twice and come and discover the wonderful world of camping, where you can live an unforgettable experience for you and your family. If you are looking for a way to disconnect from the daily routine, connecting with nature and enjoying your leisure time, Bonterra Resort is the perfect option for you, enjoying a privileged natural environment and our first class facilities.
