Today is a day that marks a before and after in the history of Bonterra Park and we are happy to tell you, before anyone else, this great news. After some months of hard work, Bonterra Park has been recognized with the 5-star certification and changes its commercial name to Bonterra Resort – Camping & Bungalows, which makes us the fifth luxury campsite in the Valencian Community and the second in the province of Castellón.

In a symbolic way, we have chosen to officially announce our jump to the 5-star category tomorrow, the 5th, and in a year in which we celebrate our 55th anniversary.

This category and name change implies an enormous transformation and evolution from that campsite that was born in Benicàssim in 1966, and after a long way that has turned us into a first-class vacation space on the shores of the Mediterranean.

In the last weeks we have intensified our efforts to adapt to the requirements established by the Decree for the regulation of campsites of the Valencian Community, following a decision that we made precisely during the months of confinement.

A luxury decision at the most difficult moment

The closing of our doors last March, due to the health crisis that affected us worldwide, caused us great sadness and anguish due to the uncertainty about our immediate future. However, this situation helped us to relocate and analyze everything we have achieved so far as well as to set new challenges for a hopeful and healthy future.

We felt that we should demand from ourselves what we receive from you, our clients: excellence. And this led us to take the big step and take advantage of the months of less activity to prepare ourselves in order to meet the demands that we saw as necessary and, in turn, that we felt that the clients deserved.

After several months of effort and work to renovate and improve our facilities and services, just a few days ago we passed all the inspections with the necessary requirements and we closed 2020 with this positive news: Bonterra became a 5-star category campsite.

It was then when we saw the idea of ​​renaming our campsite as Bonterra Resort, since all clients can find a wide range of accommodation and services that go far beyond a place to stay.

A recognition that gives us energy to continue growing

Although this upgrade has just been granted to us, the path of transformation and evolution of our campsite began in 2016. They have been five years of hard work, passion, changes and overcoming difficulties.

Consequently, this is a deserved and fair recognition of the effort of all the incredible human team that makes up this company as well as our suppliers. Together they have exceeded all expectations, endorsing the vision of transformation of the campsite for our clients and today we want to thank them all for their maximum commitment during all this time.

But with this we do not reach a full stop. We are aware that this “award” is just one more step in this continuous evolution that gives us an injection of energy to continue growing and setting new challenges. And we owe this infinite thirst for improvement to you and to the rest of the clients, to whom we need to give THANKS in capital letters.

We want to thank our clients a thousand times, who have supported us in these years of so many changes, for trusting us, for your patience and for helping us to be better every day, transmitting your proposals, needs and acknowledgments at all times. And we also want to give a special thanks to all of you who in 2020 have fought against fears and insecurities to visit Bonterra Park, not forgetting all those who have not been able to travel but who have written and called us with messages of love and support.

All this makes us very happy and gives us the strength to continue evolving in the future.
