September

One year more, we start the autumn-winter season with the awaited trips to Valencia, which which will take place almost once a month.

The capital of the Valencian Community offers countless touristic choices, so we want to give Bonterra Resort clients the chance to visit this wonderful and historic city.

The trips will take place during a day in which you will be able to enjoy freely wandering around and getting to know its streets, squares, monuments, museums, shops… The city of Valencia offers a lot of history, culture and gastronomy, so you will fall in love with the Plaza de la Reina, the Carmen neighbourhood, the Colón street with all its shops or to eat a delicious paella or an horchata with fartons, so typical of our land.

What’s new on the trips to Valencia?

If you already know the city and want to discover a new area of Valencia, this year we offer you the possibility to change the route. That’s why we have created an excursion with two destination options:

  • Valencia city centre
  • Cabanyal beach in Valencia.

If you choose the latter option, the bus will make a first stop in the coastal area of the capital and you will be able to enjoy the beach area during the day.

El Cabanyal is an old fishermen’s neighbourhood, with a beach that covers a kilometre of coastline, some 100 metres wide. The beach of Cabanyal, with golden sand and transparent water, is also called Arenas beach by the locals.

In terms of leisure, you can find restaurants, shops and even stroll around the Thursday market. And if you want to do a bit of sightseeing in the area and discover new places, you can find the Rice Museum, the old port of Valencia or eat in Mercabañal, a large and bright open-air space with several terraces.
