If you like to enjoy gastronomy, from 20 October to 12 November 2022 you have the opportunity to discover the best tapas in the Ruta de la Tapa Castelló.

In this competition, which is celebrating its tenth edition, 49 restaurants and establishments in the city of Castelló will compete to make the best tapa of the autumn season, which will be judged by the votes of all the diners who decide to participate and vote for their favourite, together with the evaluations of the members of the Gastronomic Committee.

If you visit Castelló during your stay at Bonterra Resort and want to take part in the Tapas Route, you will be able to choose from the 98 tapas participating in the competition, and taste 2 tapas in each of the 49 establishments at a price of 4.50€ TAPA + DRINK.

You will also be entered into a prize draw to win various prizes such as dinners for two, shopping vouchers, beer or sets of forks and knives.

How does the Ruta de la Tapa Castelló work for the public?

To participate in the Ruta de la Tapa, follow these steps:

1. Ask for your TAPAVOTO SABORES in any of the 49 establishments participating in the Ruta Sabores Castelló.
2. With each TAPA you will be able to ask for a SEAL from the establishment where you have eaten, to be stamped on your TAPAVOTO.
3. Visit and eat your TAPAS in at least FOUR DIFFERENT establishments and collect the four stamps on your TAPAVOTO.
4. Once completed, fill in your TAPAVOTO with your personal details (name and telephone number) and vote for any of the establishments on the Route, indicating the LOCAL NUMBER (from 01 to 49) and the TAPA you prefer, the nº1 or nº2 of that establishment.
5. DELIVER YOUR TAPAVOTE at any of the venues on the Route before 12 November 2022 at 23:59h, and take part in the public prize draws.
6. There are 5 OUT OF COMPETITION LOCALITIES identified with the number 00 in which you will be able to taste their tapas. They CANNOT BE VOTED FOR nor can you ask for a stamp to fill in your tapavoto. You will be able to deposit your completed tapavoto in the ballot box.

The 10 tapas selected from the 98 submitted will be entered to participate in the MASTER FINAL. In this event, which will take place on 29 November, the 10 finalists will cook in front of a technical jury, made up of leading chefs, to find out which is the BEST TAPA of Castelló 2022.
