Uncertainty, security and self-demand: three concepts that have accompanied us during this 2020

December

Have you noticed how time has passed during this 2020?

Just 12 months ago we started a month of January with a thousand plans and celebrating the beginning of the year with all the regular clients of the winter season. Clients from many countries, whose main purpose for 2020 was to continue enjoying the life, the sun and the well-being that they found in Bonterra Park and Benicàssim.

Just two months later we were forced, for the first time since we open 365 days a year, to close our doors and ask the clients who are already part of our family to leave our campsite “with nothing but the clothes on their backs” from one day to another and with tears in our eyes.

As you well know, since then this 2020 has been the year of uncertainties, of not knowing how each day was going to be like or what the next day would bring us.

Luckily, we were able to open again our doors in June, and little by little the visits came back along with the timid celebration of a holiday that gave us a truce with this virus that has prevented us so much.

A year in which safety has been the priority

That is why our absolute priority since then, has been to offer a stay as safe as possible to all our clients and staff of Bonterra Park.

The purpose of our existence is to offer a period of rest and family well-being, so security and protocols should be maximum if we want to continue fulfilling that purpose.

Those of you who have been able to visit Bonterra Park since June know all the measures that have been taken, both in terms of customer and staff demands, as well as capacity control methods, hydroalcoholic gel dispensers in all installations, continuous disinfection in all areas and especially in the toilet blocks …

And not only this, the Bonterra team have continued working and thinking about how to continuously improve our services, with the maximum self-demand so that, when the long-awaited normality arrives, all clients can continue enjoying their holidays in an intensely calm way. Intensely calm, yes. As intense as you want and as calm as you need. Because Bonterra Park will continue offering tailor-made holidays for each member of the family.

And all this work has led us to a new situation: a great news that we are looking forward to tell you and that we will announce very soon.

Answering the question we asked you at the beginning of the article about the passing of time, for us this 2020 has mixed two simultaneous speeds. On one side, the days and weeks have passed slowly, lengthening a state of health alert and a pandemic much longer than we expected; on the other side, it has been a fleeting moment. This year has been like a parenthesis in which we have stopped living our lives in a normal way to wait for this virus to let us go out again, to hug, to kiss, to travel…

At Bonterra Park we keep hoping that the time will go back to what it was before and that we will see so many people who have not yet been able to visit us.

In this period of strange holidays and in which 2021 is coming, at Bonterra Park we want to convey to you all the eagerness and hope of being able to meet again with you very soon and with more health, more smiles and more optimism.

All the staff of Bonterra Park wish you a very happy and healthy beginning of 2021.
